Kanalski Lom · Soča Valley, Slovenia
A stone farmhouse for up to eleven guests, set where the hillside meadows meet the forest — quiet, unhurried, and looked after by Peter.
The house
On the edge of a quiet village, 175 m² unfolds across four bedrooms and two bathrooms — a living room with a flat-screen TV, and a kitchen properly equipped for cooking, not just reheating. Meals happen outside as often as in: on the terrace, on the lawn, wherever the light is best.
Seven kilometres from Most na Soči, twelve from Tolmin — close enough to reach the emerald river and the hiking trails above it, far enough to hear only the valley.

Your host
"I love meeting people from different parts of the world — connecting with new people is one of the best parts of traveling. As a host, I want my guests to feel relaxed and almost at home. When I'm not hosting, you'll find me cycling, running, or out in the nature of the Soča Valley."
With notice, Peter prepares traditional dishes "under the bell" — a local method of slow-cooking over an open fire — and is always glad to point guests toward the best trails, restaurants, and quiet corners of the valley.

Everything! The location is stunning and peaceful. The house was clean and spacious. But most of all, we loved the hospitality. The hosts were amazing — so kind and welcoming. It really was a home from home. We loved picking potatoes for our tea...

The owner is very friendly. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. My kids really enjoyed collecting eggs. It was great to explore this part of Slovenia from here. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
